1. Overview
ASTIAC strives to provide transparent and fair pricing for all accreditation services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the process for requesting one.
2. Full Refund Eligibility
A full refund of the accreditation fee is available if the applicant cancels their application before the compliance screening process has commenced. Cancellation must be submitted in writing to accreditation@astiac.org within 48 hours of application submission. Full refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
3. Partial Refund Eligibility
Once the compliance screening process has commenced but before a final determination is made, a partial refund of 50% may be available upon written request. This accounts for the costs of screening services already rendered. No partial refund is available after a final accreditation decision (approval, denial, or revocation) has been issued.
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:
- The application has been denied due to adverse compliance findings.
- The accreditation has been revoked due to new information or non-compliance.
- The applicant provided false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- The applicant fails to respond to requests for additional documentation within 30 days.
- The certificate has already been issued and activated.
5. Add-On Services
Fees for add-on services (Enhanced Due Diligence, Letters of Standing, Compliance Training, etc.) are non-refundable once the service has been initiated or delivered.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, send a written request to accreditation@astiac.org including your application reference number, the reason for the refund request, and your preferred refund method. Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days, and approved refunds are processed within 10 business days.
7. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter by contacting accreditation@astiac.org. Disputes are reviewed by the Director General's office and a final determination is provided within 15 business days.
